This unique 20 week Marathon Training Plan has been designed to maximise your performance in the Paris Marathon. All the science has been done for you and ensures you reach the start line in the best possible shape tuning you up to enjoy a very special race. Its all about time to a 90 minute walk/jog is fine as a base level of fitness for your first few long efforts.
The plan gradually takes you from 4 days a week of running up to 5 and incorporates core, strength and cross training together with suggested massage weeks to maximise super compensation and reduce the risk of over training.
After a Base and Build phase the plan develops strength and speed specific to the demands of the course before finishing with the perfect taper sharpening the body to perform at its best on race day.
